Paddle with Manatees, February 25th to March 2nd

If you missed out on our December trip (IT SOLD OUT), here is your chance to make up for the missed opportunity.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT AS OF 1/7/2024: This trip WAS SOLD OUT, but we still have folks interested in joining us so we rented a second house across the Weeki Wachee River from house one. We now have room for a few more lucky paddlers.

We will be staying in a two very nice houses. One is directly on the Weeki Wachee River, the second one is a short distance down a canal but across the canal is an undeveloped wild life area. Both are amazing locations.

We will paddle from the back yard some days for sure. During the week we will also paddle the Silver River (chance to encounter the wild monkeys), Chassahowitzka River, Rainbow River, and possibly the Weeki Wachee. What we end up doing might change due to the weather of course.

Check in will be Sunday February the 25th and check out on Saturday March 2nd. That gives us 5 full days to paddle different rivers or to play tourists.

We might have opportunities to swim with the Manatees,,, it gets chilly. Wet suits, mask and snorkels recommended. If you have never experienced a close encounter with these gentle giants you have really missed out.

This is a beginner and kid friendly trip.

Cost of the trip includes 3 meals each day, all trips, and any incidental cost like park admissions or parking. You have four options for housing listed below.  Please note, options 1 through 4 are for housing and meals only, and do not include Kayak Rental.  Our kayaks can be rented for $100 per kayak, and this fee covers the whole week.  The option to reserve kayaks will show up as a seperate ticket choice below the housing options.  

Option one: Single sharing a room with other singles. $900.00

Option two: Couple in private room with a King Bed. $1900.00

Option three: Couple in private room with a Queen Bed. $1750.00 (SOLD OUT)

Rental boats available. $100 per kayak, covers all 5 days

There is a lot to do in the area and you are not obligated to paddle every day. Destinations to be determined as we get closer to the trip dates and get a good read on the tides and weather.
